ABSTRACT
Objective To explore the mechanisln of action of Jianpiyishen Decotion on renal fibrosis and provide experimental evidence for chnieal application.Methods The Wistar male rats were randomly divided into four groups.They were normal control group(N group),model group(M group),low dose treatment group(L group)and high dose treatment group(H group).AⅡanimal models were made of CRF with subtotal renal ablation except the N group.Interference began at one week after operation.After being interfered for 8 weeks,blood serunl and nephridial tissues were taken out.Serum urea nitrogen(BUN)and creatinine(Scr)and fibronectin(FN)were detected.Results In N group。There were light expression in renal tubniointerstitial substance,cellula epithelialis basal meulbnule and Vascular smooth muscle.In M group,FN was strong expressed in renal tubulointerstitial substance and renal tubde,and also in glomerular mesangium.There was significant difference between N and M group(P<O.01).FN was medium expressed in renal tubuloinlerstitial substanceand renal tubule in L and H group.The expression of FN in L group was higher than that of N group(P<0.01)and lower than that of Mgroup(P<O.01).The expression of FL in H group was lower than that in L group(P<O.05).Condusion Jianpiyishen decotion can decrease eerum BUN and Cr ofCRF rats,restrain the expression of FN in kidney tissue.And it indicates that Jianpiyishen decotion is an effective herbal prescription for the treatment of CRF.The mechanism may be because it can restrain the expression of the cell factor such as FN in rats'kidney,and delay the progress of renal fibrosis and CRF.

【Objective】To explore the therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment for immunoglobulin A(IgA) nephropathy.【Methods】The selected 123 patients with IgA nephropathy were divided into two groups(in the proportion of 3∶1) by number randomization.Group A(n=86) was given Tripterygium Glycosides tablets and differential treatment according to syndrome patterns,and Group B(n=37) was given routine western medicine including anti-inflammation drugs,drugs for controlling blood pressure and glucocorticoid hormone.The two groups received a 3-month treatment course and received one more course according to individual cases.The total therapeutic effect,effect for TCM syndrome patterns,and toxic and side effects were observed.The changes of TCM syndrome scoring were compared before and after treatment.【Results】In group A,symptoms were completely relieved in 29,markedly relieved in 30,relieved in 15 and un-relieved in 12 patients,the total effective rate being 86.05%,while respectively in 4,5,10 and 18 of patients in group B,the total effective rate being 51.35%.The total effect was better in group A than that in group B(P0.05).The improvement on TCM syndrome scoring in group A was superior to that in group B(P

【Objective】To observe the effect of Sicaotang Decoction which is mainly composed of kidney-nourishing,toxicity-removing and blood-activating herbal medicines on parameters associated with mesenteric proliferation,fibronectin(FN),and Bcl-2 gene expression in lupus nephritis(LN).【Methods】 Sixty LN patients were equally randomized into two groups.The two groups received treatment with hormones and cyclophosphamide,and group Areceived Sicaotang Decoction additionally.The changes of Bcl-2 and Fas expression in CD4+ and CD8+ of T lymphocyte subtypes,serum fibronectin(FN),serum and urine collagen Ⅳ(CⅣ) as well as score of blood stasis were observed.【Results】Sicaotang Decoction reduced the expression of Bcl-2 and Fas expression in CD4+ and CD8+,relieved the proliferation of mesenteric cells,and decreased Bcl-2 positive rate,serum FN level,serum and urine CⅣ levels and score of blood stasis(P
